The hotel you stay in can truly enhance your stay in Italy. We work with high end 3 star hotels on up to 5-star deluxe. All of the properties that I work with are personally inspected. I am not picking them from a computer. I know them and am comfortable with them. My focus is to select properties that are not only clean and well located, but that offer you a taste of Italy, whether it be via a more basic property or a luxury property in an old palace. Based on what you are looking for, I will make suggestions for what I think fits your needs, likes and dislikes.

A description of hotel categories is below including approximate prices. Please be aware that these are meant to give you an idea and can be higher and sometimes lower dependent on season and location.

3-star properties that I work with are well located and will offer some charm, will be clean and offer the basic necessities, as well as friendly service. They do not have the extras, such as a concierge, bell man, etc. The quality 3star hotels that I work with have rates that tend to start from approximately 225Euro per night for 2 people and up.

4-star hotels offer charm, good service and many extras. They are also well located and can offer many unique properties. They are not luxury properties but will offer a concierge service, sometimes a restaurant and give you that extra something special. Approximate rates can start from 300Euro per night for 2 people in low season and work their way up.

5-star hotels are on the upscale luxury end of the scale. They will often be housed in very historic/unique buildings and will offer all the extra services. Approximate rates can start from 350Euro per night for 2 people in low season and work their way up.

Villa rentals can be a wonderful experience. You can begin to immerse yourself in the local life by shopping at the markets, cooking wonderful new Italian dishes or lounging by the pool while staring out at the beautiful landscape. Rentals are generally from Saturday to Saturday. While renting a villa or apartment can offer a romantic stay in Italy, you need to be aware that you will not have someone on call 24 hours a day (although some high end villas do come with full time staff and all villas will have a contact person)… you are more on your own, as you might be if renting a condo or house at the beach or mountains in the US.
